He lived in a world where drugs were plentiful and run-ins with the police were common. As Stephen went from addict to junkie, he said “the need for drugs overcame everything else.” His life was spinning out of control until one day he wound up alone in a car, a lethal dose of cocaine waiting for him in a syringe.
